(THIS IS THE SEQUEL OF There's a Thin Line Between Love and Hate by MP13girl )
Alex was a normal girl, or at least she thought she was. Her parents, Jesse and Jordan Jacobson had a past that they hid; that they thought would never come back. It was only a matter of time before it did. And it came back with a bang, when Alex was only 16. She looked almost exactly like her mother; they could've been mistaken for twins if her mother was younger. An enemy gets let out of jail, and a few days later, someone she loves ends up dead. Now Jordan is forced to tell her young daughter about her and her father's strange past. Alex always has to watch her back, be careful who she trusts. It's hard when everyone you know could be connected to a cold-blooded killer.
A new boy, named Eric came to town 3 years earlier and was instantly popular; he had everything a girl could want. Looks, charms, the sarcasm, but there was something off about him. Alex knew it. They both meet one day unexpectedly, leaving them hating each other. Leaving Alex with an unhealthy taste for revenge. Exactly like her mother. Her mother sends her off to her old private school, Adeline for her own safety, along with her older sister, Spencer and her younger brother Taylor. But unknowingly the new boy goes to the brother school, Cambridge. Alex is happy for this, but for a different reason. After one stupid mistake though, Alex and her friends are forced to spend her summer at a familiar camp. Camp Kingston. And guess who's going to be there? Eric. And they're stuck there until the end of their senior year. Sound a lot like her mother's case? Yeah, not exactly. Much, much different.
