After her grandmother dies, leaving her to be the only one left in her family, Kaitlin receives a strange note written to her. It contained clues about the town her long lost family grew up in. The note leads her to a cute, small town that holds the darkest secrets. She makes new friends but ends up getting more than she asked for, and every time she tries to get out the people of Smithfield somehow reel her back in. Will she be able to get out before the dark moon rises? Or will she become one with the townspeople and forget everything she's ever known about good and evil in the world?
