"Love used to mean forever, but now it only means temporary."

• Jessabelle Harbor has been through complete fire trying to get over her ex-boyfriend after finding out that he's engaged. So when she was offered the prestigious job as a choreographer for the hit TV-show 'Phenomenon', she took up the offer in a flash.

There were many perks to working on set to one of the most popular TV-shows in the country, one of them being the fact that she worked beside the nation's heartthrob, Josh Trevor.

But her job has a few downs as well, one of which being the contract that the staff is forced to sign. If you don't do exactly what it states, you're fired. And if someone leaves their job to be with you, you know it's real. But even the realest-looking relationships have their ups and downs, which is a lesson that Jess has no idea she's about to learn...the hard way. •

NOTE: It's a little bit of a thriller as well so if you're into that kinda shizzle, you would probably like reading this :)

WARNING: OVERLY DRAMATIC TEEN-FICTION (proceed with caution and a whole lot of tissues)

'Why does everything keep reminding me of the past? I don't want a repeat and I certainly don't want to be reminded. It hurts too much. One more thing and I might just be pushed over the edge...' Everything always looks fine from the outside. Riley Raymond is a part of A Troupe, which, after winning Nationals, are now invited to the most prestigious competitions in the country, heading to Internationals and have the strongest team The Next Step has ever seen. Riley's relationship with her boyfriend James couldn't be better and, although they're not without their arguments, she knows her sister Emily cares about her. But the past can't be changed. Riley isn't the girl she was 4 years ago - events and people have certainly made sure of that. But she wouldn't show her weaknesses now, she knows letting people in can only get you hurt. And she's not the only one with problems. At the same time, Emily is struggling to cope on her own at home, when everyone is out, getting on with their lives. Restricted to the confinement of their house, she's slowly going slightly crazy. But she doesn't exactly have anyone to talk to - Hunter left the studio ages ago, and Stephanie and Giselle haven't been around in months. Being the people they are, both Riley and Emily try and keep their struggles to themselves - it's just easier that way. But surely everything can't stay hidden forever... Surely there's only so much someone can take before things start getting serious... Fanfiction based on the Canadian show The Next Step. Therefore I don't own these characters! (Set around the start of season 3) Due to the mention of abuse, suicide and self-harm (amongst other issues), this book is rated Mature.

The Lost Memories

94 parts Complete

"Her or me?" A tear rolled down Michelle's puffy cheek, "You have to make a decision." For Michelle, life has always been about control- control in the studio, in her friendships, and even in the secrets she hides. But with an unexpected pregnancy, the pressure mounts, and her fierce ambition starts to alienate those around her, especially Emily. Fed up with Michelle's harshness, Emily finds herself growing closer to Summer, leaving Michelle increasingly isolated. At the same time, Michelle's long-standing rivalry with Richelle escalates, fueled by a painful history neither can forget. As tensions rise, Richelle finds herself drawn to the mysterious texts of a woman she's never met, someone who seems to see through her defenses and understand her need for connection. Desperate for companionship, Richelle begins to hope for love, even as her competition with Michelle spirals out of control. As the dancers prepare for Internationals, fractures in the team threaten to cost them their dreams. Old alliances break, new bonds form, and hidden emotions rise to the surface. Will they find a way to pull together, or will rivalry and betrayal destroy their last shot at victory?
