Based on the TV series Legend of the Seeker, and continues on from the events of season 2. There are some discrepancies to the detail of Season 2, e.g. Kahlan's sister Denee having assumed the role of an active Confessor in Aydindril while Richard and co. fight the Keeper, but the overall storyline is the same. However, it is headed in a different direction, and I would like to take this chance to add that I genuinely support and love Kahlan and Richard as a couple, though I also love Cara. This story is simply an alternative version of what could happen and I hope you will like it! Feedback is welcome. :)
Also, I acknowledge that I am not the creator of any of the characters mentioned by name in this story; they belong to Terry Goodkind, the writer of The Sword of Truth series on which the TV series adaptation is based.
