Vic was overjoyed, all his worries were expelled from his mind and he was sure nothing could go wrong. Yes, his dad was being a douchebag. Yes, his homophobic aunt was in town. None of that seemed to matter, and as he kissed Kellin's cheek he knew it would be alright.
That all came to an end, and all his joy and all his hopes were thrown out the door with no chance of betterment. Sure, it wasn't too big and everyone seemed to forget, but for Vic, it was much more. it was so much more.

That’s the night when his mindset about danger changed. Kellin Quinn-Bostwick was always the loner boy. His life was as low as someone’s life could get; abusive parents, bad grades, no friends. He was also openly gay. People never tried to tease him or taunt him about it; or about anything, for that matter. Everyone knew Kellin could kill–literally. He refuses to date anyone other than Vic, but he knows Vic would never love him again, so Kellin turns to his eating disorder to help him cope with the issues he has to deal with and take on in life.
