Akira was a new 1st year transfer to Ouran High School. Akira had gotten in through special exams for she was a not rich at all. With her intelligence and cleverness she managed to pass the exams and get in with a full scholarship, of course she needs to stay at the head of her class to stay in the school, but she doesn't have any trouble with it. 
Fate as cruel as it is, Akira finds herself in music room 3, where she runs into the Ouran High School Host Club, a twist and turn of events takes place and she finds herself as a new host for the club.
However, Akira has a dark secret and the members of the Host Club just want to help her in anyway that they can, after all, they all know pain and suffering.
