A popular but true aphorism from lovely Mackenzie Phillips, 'You never know what someone is dealing with behind closed doors. You only know what you see or what you think you see.' Jaide Terrence's life wasn't always tiring, imperfect, and dreadful. At one point in time she had a happy family filled with joy and euphoria. But, they hit a turning point when her mother was abruptly diagnosed with colon cancer, which made them have to travel from Los Angeles to Chicago only to be sent back to Los Angeles for treatment. The extra pressure was not only dragged unto Jaide but her little sister Amber and her older brother Dwayne who cares for the family while their mom is occasionally at the hospital and their dad still overseas in Iraq serving his country as a Master Gunnery Sergeant of the Marine Corps. Her, her brother Dwayne and her little sister Amber juggle hurt, education, and moving all in their intentions of finding happiness. ************************************************************************************************** Moving back to her old town she attends her new high school and finishing her last semester before graduation.
