Aurora Bernice Dragomir was everything her mother and father wanted but was born something entirely different. 

Human.

It was mutant and unheard for two old blood lines to contain anything but well bred vampire genes,and yet there she was. 

Her skin was Rosy and warm to the touch. Her heart fluttered beneath her chest. Her eyes, stuck between the blue and red of her parents, were violet. As for her hair, it was fine and curling and spun of gold. 

She was beautiful.

She was strong but she was: Human. 

And that's not even the worst part, for what made her human also made her dangerous. She was immune to the change. She could never become a vampire and for any unsuspecting vampire who tried to test that theory, death was sure to greet him. Her blood was immune and poisonous.
