A new breed of humans have started to awaken to their evolution, experiencing a 'trigger' that hastened them to advance sooner than most normal humans.
They are called Accelerators, individuals who went through a physical or mental metamorphosis that separated them from the ordinary. They harbor special skills and unique abilities to use at will. Their numbers have slowly increased over the years. Those who were discovered were registered in the government and had their lives changed in the consequence; those who fear being found out remained hidden.
The ones who underwent the natural phase of acceleration, showing obvious signs of change together with newly acquired abilities are called ACCELS. Those with superior innate skills are VERIFIERS, possessing no special abilities nor physical transformation yet have highly developed senses that identify them from the norm.
The government has long known of their existence. There were those who wanted to use such abilities to their advantage; those who wished to discover its origin; those who were against such methods; and those who refuse to have anything to do with them.
The presence of accelerators in the world, albeit discreet, were viewed as a threat. Factions soon formed within the government, extending into chains of other groups with motives of their own - pro and anti. One in particular concluded a research and put it into actions as security against accelerators was their excuse for conducting the tests
The ALTERS emerged, once regular humans who participated or were subjected in experiments that forced them to accelerate. The successful products, namely the survivors, came out with the same transformation as the Accels and with abilities of their own. However, the coerced transformation took its toll on their physical and mental state. Only the organization responsible for their change could provide the proper maintenance.

(Y/N) (L/N) was born to a Muggle Father & Witch Mother. Both parents loved and adored there son and quickly saw that he has a massive amount of magic stored within him. As a result they instantly began teaching him how to use magic but also found out rather quickly that he couldn't use it. They saw the power there son held but was unable to touch it. But they still loved there son and continued on despite his nonexistent magical abilities. A few years past and (Y/N)'s mother took him with her to work with her since they couldn't find a sitter. While at work (Y/N) wondered away from his mothers side and over to an alchemist table where he began copying what he saw his mother do so many times. (Y/N)'s mother quickly spotted her missing son and went to stop him but was completely shocked to see the quality of potion he had produced.She made the same potion as he did and was shocked to see that even with the same ingredients (Y/N)'s potions was miles above hers. She later contacted some of her friends to help her figure this out and to there shock and excitement it seemed (Y/N) was able to infuse his own magic into objects making them even more powerful then they would normally be. Along with being able to give others his magic with a touch. Any touch will do but skin on skin is the strongest. The person affected by a touch from (Y/N) will instant fell fully rejuvenated as well as being able to cast a much more powerful form of magic then they wound normally be able to for a very short period of time. If (Y/N) keeps his hand on someone as they use there wand then the power of there spells increases in power till (Y/N) moves his hands off them. (Only two people can be effected at a time since you only have two arms)As a result (Y/N) became very famous around the wizarding world. One day a few Death Eaters were out searching for him for there master when they were discovered by Auror. One and The Same (a Jacksepticeye and egos AU story)
For years, scientists have wanted to see if they could extract a human conscience and split it into its individual parts. Over and over again they tried and over and over again they failed. Until one day, when they found a way that they were sure would work. The problem: they needed a brand new test subject. Enter Jack. Jack (known as Jacksepticeye on youtube) was kidnapped by the scientists and experimented on. His conscience was extracted and split into individual parts, his body was cloned and the main bulk of his conscience was implanted back into him. Jack survived the experience with very little physical and mental damage and the experiment was deemed a success. And so, the egos were born. They and Jack were kept in the lab and experimented on until the opportunity arose to escape. Once they are released into the real world, Jack discovers looking after multiple clones of himself who know nothing about the outside world is going to be a lot harder than he thought. And to make things worse, Jack is now sharing his mind with Anti. Where the others just want to live their lives as normally as they can, Anti wants revenge. He wants the world to know what they have been through and he wants the scientists to burn for what they did. He craves attention and is willing to get it in any way possible, even if that means putting the group's new-found freedom in jeopardy.Complete

*Warning ahead content contains animal abuse It was dimmed. I couldn't see. Oh, but I could smell. The sweet scents all around me. Then I smelled her. I immediately knew who she was. My mother. My creator. I went over to her screaming my way between my two siblings. Although I was just a puppy, I could recognize my surroundings. When I was finished drinking the milk from my mother, I moved away. I felt a hard surface underneath me. There were plenty of other scents too. One that smelled delicious. I also couldn't hear, but I could feel movement. I was removed from the hard surface and handed a much softer place. There were these weird bumps over the softer surface. It moved me around, and I was set back down in place on the floor. A couple of weeks passed though I couldn't feel it. Each day felt as if I was still a newborn. Time was not essential in my mind. As I got older, my senses started to sharpen. I could see and hear, but the one thing I couldn't see was color. All I saw was black and gray. My mother was very furry, but so was I. I would often smell her, and I liked how her scent smelled sweet. When I could, I would find food around a dumpster. We were learning more as we got older. I had two sisters and two brothers, as I was one of the girls. We spoke to each other often, my siblings and me. "Let's go, children." Mother said to us in a soft voice. We knew how to communicate. When we fought over food mother, would tell at us. I didn't like being in trouble. I was usually quiet. One day I learned the soft surface that I had encountered was a human hand. I had felt that same surface when a human came up to us. The human loaded all of us in their vehicle. We came upon this strange building. The human let us out in this strange building. There were many scents. I couldn't place them all at once. I concentrated on one specific scent. Strawberry. It smelled so sweet, and it started to hurt my nose.Complete

They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. It's been years since the collapse. Countless lives lost, history, and cultures forgotten to the horrors we live today. As it stands now, only a fraction of the settlements survived since the start of the war against the monsters described outside the wall that protects us. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them...
