I am a night fury, not the last, I know that for my friend Stardust is always next to me. There used to be more of us and we will show them to you before we are out on our own, dancing on the wind. We are on a journey to find others of our kind. Every Viking we see, we kill. For, they killed so many we cared for. Now, we search, we kill, we remember. But I shall always follow the stars for which I am named after. For I am Pegasas.

No one but dragons to call family, a mysterious dragon rider finds an island with other dragon riders. Are these humans friend or foe, like most in her life? As she tags along for adventure after adventure with these dragon riders, her past will come back to haunt her. How will she react when she meets a nefarious for or two that she recognizes? How will she survive falling for a certain one legged viking after 13 years of isolation? How will this new family learn her deepest darkest secrets?
