A story of how friendship grows into love between two young teenagers; Bailey Sanders and her long-time best friend Nick. After discovering that their feelings for each other are more than they thought, they throw themselves into their relationship. After only two short weeks of being together, Bailey's father demands distance, feeling that they're rushing things, which he's more than right about. Bailey and her father's relationship is on a down-ward spiral and he's afraid to lose his daughter along with his wife a few short years before; but Bailey feels that her and Nick's love can survive anything. And after a huge family tragedy, can Nick keep the reins on his relationship and the life of the girl he loves?
