Lillian Arnold is what some would call "damaged merchandise". Within her three years in middle school, she had her heart broken 7 times. She was the only survivor of a car crash that killed her mother, father, and little sister. She went into foster care, forcing her to leave her friends and childhood home. She became afraid of falling in love, afraid she would lose them. She shut herself out from the world, only talking when spoken to. On the first day of high school with her new foster family in her new town, all of that changed. Will Lillian be ready for the change?
