"Do you have to go, Father?" Sesshomaru asked as he stares towards the tall figure of his father, only to see an amused smile upon his father's face
"It will only be a few months, Sesshomaru.. I will be back sooner than you know it" Touga replied as Sesshomaru gave a gentle sigh before nodding
"Very well then.. I shall my utmost to keep the West in check.." he stated as Touga smiled and nodded before boarding the carriage as he headed off towards the Northern lands, only to make a quick detour towards the woods, to visit his younger sister's estate
Upon his arrival to her estate, Touga grew slightly surprised when he was suddenly greeted by his jumpy younger sister, seeing just how far she has gotten into her pregnancy made him feel surprisingly happy about himself
He couldn't help it, having him to image what their pup would be like, made him feel like extremely proud about himself, yet it did sadden him a little bit that he has failed to do his duties as the faithful husband of his mortal wife..

I've always fallen for older guys and liked the friends-to-lovers tropes, so this will hit both of those. I've tried to include little Easter eggs and nods to Inuyasha and Yashahime. However, Goku witnesses their argument when he is the only one who is in pity and wants to help Kagome out with the broken heart she has, but because of the memory loss she accidentally made a wish with. Chiyomaru is Inuyasha's younger twin sister, a mortal girl who's demonic powers were taken from her in the womb by Inuyasha. Only powers that remained was the ability to heal quickly and the long life. About a hundred years ago, Inuyasha decided that it would be best that he walk away with Chiyomaru, after all, Chiyo had a happy life journeying the world with her best friend, Reiki, a girl who is exactly like Chiyo but with the ability to see the future in mental images during her sleep. The two girls were extremely close and traveled around so Reiki could help mortals find happiness and true love even during the feuding times. Around 50 years ago, Reiki senses something very wrong with her twin brother, a man who was also a half demon like Inuyasha. Inuyasha is awakened and she searches all over the place for Inuyasha. After teaming up with Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku and Shippo, Chiyo leads the group to the demon slaying village where she once trained. They find the villagers slain before meeting Sango, who wished to kill Inuyasha who she believed killed her village. After seeing the truth, the group continues their journey to find Naraku and Chiyo crosses paths with the long foreseen true love that Reiki predicted that she'd meet one day, southern wolf demon tribe leader, Koga.
