This tale embarks a beautiful adventure that centers around a not-so average person. Raven lives in Auburn, California. Ever since she could speak and form memories, the voices become stronger each day. Her desensitization of them caused her parents to force her into taking prescription pills and checking into psychiatric hospitals, labeling her as an insane and unstable child. After so many years of being drugged against her will, she reaches a tipping point, and runs away. Hoping to seek that connection she feels with those voices. Something she's felt before. A connection that has a familiar breath that whispers nothing but empathy and consistency. Tranquility and purpose. Peace and love. One fateful day Raven is plunged into a world of enchanting manifestation. Where dreams become vivid and blurs the lines of reality. This is where our story begins.

"I've had enough of your games," He growled, sending an involuntary shiver up my spine. "For the last time, who... the fuck... are you?" The demand had his voice dropping a pitch lower with each word and it suddenly got harder to breathe. A ripple of anxiety began a slow crawl up my spine, and I moistened my lips. "I- I'm Willow, Julie's girlfriend?" Why was I nervous all of a sudden? "Again with this shit, I don't care who the fuck your little girlfriend is. What do you want?" ~•~•~•~ Following her father's passing, Willow Macomber and her family were plunged into the harsh realities of poverty, where they struggled to make ends meet while burdened with debt. Saddled with a neglectful mother consumed by addiction and betrayed by a world that preyed on the vulnerable, Willow's once fragile heart hardened over time, leading her to develop a deep mistrust of men and seek solace with a woman who offered the love and security she longed for. Unbeknownst to Willow, Julie's deception poses a grave threat, entangling her in a complex web of deceit. Enter Dorian Wilhelm-White: ruthless, self-absorbed, volatile, and strikingly handsome, Dorian embodies everything Willow despises. Yet from their very first encounter, she was his, whether she liked it or not; and against his better judgment, Dorian is drawn to her fierce defiance with a passion. Sparks fly despite their stark differences, and attraction, unlike anything before simmers beneath the surface of their anger and suspicion. However, Dorian harbors his own darkness, and Willow soon comes to realize that giving in to him may come at a steep price... But is it one she's ready to pay?
