My grandmother always told me how the world used to be loud and filled with noises that would give people headaches. I always thought she was crazy until she had to die for what she believed.
The world nearly ended because of a nuclear war. The planet earth went into complete silence.
After years and years of little communication among the survivors, our bodies had grown accustomed to hearing little to nothing. Grandmother calls it being "deaf."
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the silence, and I'm about to find out how this came to be. Why grandmother was so worked up about letting the past be known to the public that she had to sacrifice herself for it. Finding the truth won't be easy since many have died because of it, but I'm about to dig it all up from the past.

Or maybe he had changed his mind from two days ago. I went to pull away, flushing lightly with embarrassment. I didn't get to disconnect our lips before he unfroze and reacted. His grip tightened, his other one going to my hair to hold my head in place as he kissed me back with more intent than I even had started with. My body flushed for a different reason now.Concluida

They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies".
