Sample - Around the Corner

This is a short excerpt from a future novel titled "Around the Corner". The novel follows a young Latina named Raquel Armas who, after her parents divorced, moved to Phoenix with her mother. Raquel is very technically minded and applies for a position as intern for one of the largest tech companies in the world ... Omnitech.

However, after a devastating accident, Raquel's life is turned upside-down and she is forced to move in with her father in Flagstaff. The small town and disconnect with her father cause Raquel to feel very alone until she runs across a young man stranded on the side of the road after his car broke down. Helping him fix it, the two become close.

This is a romantic novel set in the Arcane Universe where all my stories take place. There is no current release date but any feedback is welcome and may help with progress and speed up a potential release.
