Limbo, a 15 year old girl, continues to move around with her father trying to find a place to call home. She has never really fit into the average teenage girl category but in this new town she is determined to do so. But fitting in isn't her only problem, she knows that death always follows her and in some way she knows that she is connected to it. Knowing this is tries desperately to stay away from others, but she soon becomes friends with Darcy after she saves him from being hit by a car.

They become close but they are soon to find that all life comes at a price.
