When a baby is born, a necklace is placed on that baby with half of a certain shape. Somewhere else in the world, another newborn of the opposite gender has the matching other half. As Charlotte grew up, she had to constantly get her necklace resized and fitted properly. She never understood why she had to wear the necklace or why she couldnt take it off. One day, she reached the age of eighteen and her mother finally tells her the purpose of the necklace. She didn't understand at first but began to once her mother explains. The one who wears the other half of the necklace is your soul mate. While celebrating her eighteenth birthday, Charlotte recieves a gift that has no name. Inside is a One Direction ticket. Of course she knew who One Direction was, they were the most famous boyband in the world and she also happened to be one of their fans. On that concert night, Charlotte is watching from the crowd and singing along. She notices a familiar shape around one of the band members necks, not just the same shape, but it was glowing too.
