This is based off my dog.
I found her on the side of the road, she had been abused, her fur was outgrown, and she was covered in mud.
Nobody stopped to pick her up.
We cared.
WE DID.
She now lives with us and she had a tag on, but..
Unfortunately, an old grumpy woman picked up and said it belonged to a cat.
She said she is allergic to dogs and only has cats.
She hung up on us.
We kept her, she is ours, and her name is Sweetie.
In a way, an honor on the dog who fled from a bad scene in Virginia..
But she is ours.
No copyright on Stars! I just needed to relate that song to her story so bad!
Also, The dog on the right is my 5 year old miniature beagle Darlin

Good Dog
"Hi, I'm looking for a dog." Mark told the lady at the counter of the animal shelter. "I'll show you our selection." The woman smiled kindly as she guided Mark to the back. Mark's eyes scanned the many good dogs, listening to their barks while feeling his heart break at the sight. He walked past many breeds such as German Shepherds, mutts, and evens few poodles before he eventually reached the end with no dog in mind that he wanted. Until a new one came in. "I found her abandoned in a home that the owners had moved out of awhile ago, and she put up a hell of a fight to stay and wait for the owners to return. She's really sick too, as well as dehydrated and malnourished." A man spoke in a rush as he barged in holding a lump of fur in his hands. Mark could see the dirty white-blonde fur on the dog slowly rise up and down with each breath it took, her large, sad chocolate brown eyes looking into Mark's own eyes with a mournful look that made Mark want to hug the puppy and never let go. She let out a whimper before she lowered her head and closed her eyes, making tears well up in Mark's eyes. "That's the dog I want." Mark decided aloud. "A-are you sure? We have plenty of other dogs-" "She's perfect." Mark interrupted. The man exchanged glances with the woman before gently handing the puppy over. "What's her name?" Mark asked softly as he watched the puppy lick his fingers with a small smile. "Sephora according to the rope the owners tied to her before leaving." The man stated as he pulled out a tattered piece of rope with her name burnt onto it. "Sephora...like the makeup. How about Chica?" Mark whispered to the puppy. Chica let out a soft yip as she curled into a tighter ball in Mark's hand. "Chica it is." Mark chuckled, delicately running a finger down her soft back. "You're a good dog." Mark told her as he walked towards the exit. "You'll always be my good dog." Mark promised her.Terminé

I heave in an astronomical breathe. Dumped Death Dad Downpour That just sums up my whole day. But the only thought that's racking through my depressing brain right now as I stare up at the unexpectedly dark sky is... I should've brought an umbrella. I step out into the cold wind, splatters of raindrops hitting my cheeks. I trudge through the wet pavement, my sneakers soaking up the water. Dumped Death Dad Downpour Summarization of my fucked up day. I shiver as the cold raindrops begin pouring heavier, the water saturating through my hair and soaking my clothes. I stop immediately when I hear a helpless whimper coming from the alley beside a small bakery. I hear it again, low and sad. I step towards the sound and find two green eyes staring up at me belonging to a black cat. It's coat drenched and it's whiskers drooping low. Like it's frowning. Even in my damp mood I feel sorry for the little animal. "You don't have a home, little guy?" I ask, squatting to see it better. Did it just shake its head!? I blink a few times and sigh. I'm probably seeing things. It's been overwhelmingly negative lately. I reach a hand for the feline and it corresponds, tucking its head under it. I pet it's wet coat and stare at it as it closes its eyes. I can't leave such a pitiful thing next to the dumpsters and cold rain to be frozen alive or ravished by stray dogs. So I do what every human being would do in my situation, I take it home. And that was possibly the stupidest thing I've ever done. *** This is a story about a girl named Lucky. But of course she's everything but lucky. One day she comes across this odd feline who acts strangely like a human. Maybe he is really a human and Lucky has got her hands into a whole lot of trouble.
