Sawyer is a lonely, misunderstood girl, she does thing to try change herself, push herself into the spotlight, to make her like herself, none of which work, and only succeed in making her feel more empty inside, and just makes people judge her all the more for being so different. Finn is a lonely, misunderstood boy, he tries to hide himself, pushes himself away from the spotlight, to make people forget about him, he knows he's dying, he's not going to make it past his eighteenth birthday, so he pushes himself away from everyone he cares about, to reduce the pain the feel when he's gone. Only he never thought they'd let go so easy.
