Le Voyante translates to "The Seer" in english. James Murphel, a teenage boy in the 13th century is caught in a dilemma as he seeks to find the truth of his past, his family's and his village's future. He is a seer, a person who can see the future through supernatural insight. His vision is that his great village and possibly the entire kingdom of IIlagic will lie in ruins in a few short weeks. With this, he ventures to the Great Desert of Aronjai, where he finds a city, lit with torches and hiding his family's greatest secret.
