Captain Swan AU. Killian Jones and his brother, Liam, grew up around alcoholism and abuse. After their mother died when they were young, their father turned to drinking to numb the pain and abusing the two brothers. Emma Swan was raised in the foster system, enduring similar abuse and never having a family. At eighteen, she was pregnant and in jail after the only person she thought had ever loved her set her up to take the blame for some stolen watches. Six years later, Killian and Emma meet and slowly but surely come together. But their past emotional and physical trauma will come back to haunt them. Against all odds, can they make it?
