Daisy is an average teenager (it's always average, I know). For her, day to day life is also relatively ordinary. It is not until she meets new people that she realizes that life is not a mere straight line. She'll get to see life is full of sugar songs and bitter steps.
Then there's Nick. Poor guy never knew life can be anything but a bumpy highway. His journey has always been rough. Life's fun? Oh please. But When he meets one carefree girl, his life doesn't seem so dreadful (more or less). But the question is, will he risk taking her along in this not-so-smooth ride that he calls life?

Slice of Life story about a college girl who has had it rough growing up. With the loss of her best friend when she was at a young age, she found it extremely hard to make any new friends. She's forced herself into a quiet state, avoiding anyone else by any means necessary. But over time (where the story begins), she is approached by some new people who wish to be her friend. And Mia slowly comes out of her shell the longer she's with them, which leads her to find more friends and even a romantic interest. 11 chapters total, if anyone is reading this update here I'm sorry for the delay, I normally post all chapters at once but forgot this time. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me.
