As a young girl, I have every little detail in my life planned out. I'd attend college at 18, graduate at 22, open my own advertising agency at 24, and fall in love at 26. Everything had gone according to plan. Well, almost all. I'm 27, and I've yet to fall in love. But how in the world is this gonna happen if the only guy I ever go out with is my best friend Alex? Who did I mention by the way is gay? Naturally, like any other girl out there who's waiting for love. I asked for a sign. I prayed that he would take me to places that I would never dare to go. Crazy right? But i guess what I really want to see is that he would be willing to be with me and make me enjoy crazy adventures even when I don't like it. Simply because i love being with him. And you know what the funny thing is? You find love in the places you least expect it to appear.

My best friend Greyson McNamara and I have been partners in crime for a while now. Pranks, sneaking out to go to parties, joy riding in our parents' cars, all that crazy teen stuff, we made a pact to do together. And surprise surprise, dating each other was never on that list. I mean it's not like Grey is a bad looking guy or anything. Wink wink. Now back to that no dating thing. For years, we heard about how we would be a cute couple and how we are perfect for each other. Of course, we always laughed it off until one day we didn't. Our senior year has ended with two back to back breakups and all we can think is that we have nothing to lose. That includes us thinking that it can't hurt to try to date each other for the summer before college. We made a promise to each other that we'll stay friends no matter what. Like I said we have nothing to lose. But what if I'm wrong?
