The dragon world is exposed to the humans and war wages on each side as they try to survive. There is a growing amount of humans joining the extremist group called the Silver Arrow, who despise all dragons and take any opportunity to torture, kidnap, experiment on, and kill any dragon they can get their hands on. The dragon community is fighting back, but one little human will shock their world.
Effie Thurston is crashing base after base of the Silver Arrow, protecting and helping dragons escape all across the country. Her inside knowledge of the group is tied to her painful past, and she'd like to keep it just that...in the past. But it's not that simple when she meets Tadeo Laxman who claims she is his and his dragon's fated mate.
