Tynan is a fennec, a species that is very rare, and is entirely slaves. He's been a slave his whole life and has accepted that the world is a horrible place and that nobody will ever understand the pain he endures. He's really tough on the outside, but deep down he just wants someone to care about him. Being a fennec isn't easy, due to how small they are, they can do jobs no other species can do, and everyone wants to own a fennec, so they can be bid over for hours, not to mention they're usually only kept for a week before being traded off. He has spent half his life working, and the other half in a cage. Could things ever get better for him? Could there be light for this poor fennec?
Colby is a wolf, he has just turned 18, and is now legally required to participate in the slave trade. The problem is, auctioneers don't want to sell to wolves. Wolves are heavily discriminated against. He doesn't see too much of an issue with the world though, he lives a very privileged life for being a Wolf. In order to make sure he gets a slave, he has to dress up as another animal. He is something called a "wolf in sheep's clothing", which is a wolf that goes to auctions dressed as a sheep in order to get slaves. He is so young and doesn't even know who he is yet, he doesn't want to own slaves, but has to. His father wants him to become a businessman but Colby knows he wont be happy. Will he ever realize the true horror of the world? Will he find out who he really is?
