Venus Grimm was no Queen Bee- she didn't have everything going for her, she wasn't drop dead gorgeous, there weren't a line of boys waiting outside her door- but that was okay with her. As mundane and boring as her life was, Venus liked it. No drama, no conflict no nothing.

Things change drastically as she is thrown into the world of Guardians and discovers she has the ability to enter stories. Soon, her grip on reality is loosens as she realises that everything she ever knew, was a carefully constructed lie.
