Downhill From Here (#1)
I clicked my feet on my board and stood tall, hands on my hips looking up at him. He was staring at me. Blinking and taking a step closer, he placed a hand on my waist, shocking me. Even through the thickness of my jacket, I felt the pressure of his hand. Looking at me dead in the eyes he said, "You're hips are angled a little off," Shifting my body slightly, he looked down at my feet. "And you've got to bend a bit more when you take off." He tapped at my knee and made me crouch slightly. I was listening but only partially because my heart beat seemed to be louder than his voice. "Got it?" He said catching my eye. "Mhhmm," I mumbled, trying to breathe slowly. *************************************** A girl, her snowboarding dreams, a 3 year long crush on her snowboarding guy best friend, an encounter with a famous snowboarding legend with a secret, an adorable small child, two best friends who'd kill for her, and the competition she's waited for her whole life. Unhinged
"Silly boy - you dare ask me that question?" I frown at him instantly - taken aback when he gripped my chin. Yanking me close enough towards him, our lips almost touched. The look in his eyes was one I've seen in wild animals who can't control their animalistic behaviors. Except this one was different...it held desire - which I wasn't for at all. "I became Unhinged because of you." That's when I saw him begin to lean towards me, and wasn't having this any longer. I shove my hand onto his lips right when he was about to kiss me. My eyes glaring into his despite the risks of me doing so. "I refuse for my first kiss to be from someone like you." I growl at him, his eyes widening in shock. That's when I push him back and got off of the couch. I saw him watching me with feral eyes that told me I probably angered him even more. Possibly heightening the chances of my removal from this horrid competition. Except I'm not like the other contestants here. Having him isn't my dream, my dream is helping my family - and being here does that. I could care less if he becomes Unhinged. Especially if it's because of me. *read "Prologue" for story description* 😊💕Complete

|STEAMY ROMANCE| 18+ "Oh, how bad I want to corrupt you, ruin you. But you're not ready for that." As much as I want her beneath me, writhing, begging me to stop. There is a time and a place for all that, which now is not the time nor place. A blush forms on her cheeks as she looks away. I put my finger under her chin and gently lift her face. "Look at me, my love. I want to see those beautiful cherry cheeks of yours." I love how responsive she is to me. Seeing her blush and shy away from me is one of my favorite things about her. Walking to the drivers' side, I get in making sure she is buckled, before buckling myself. Once I see her buckled, I start the car, putting my hand on her thigh.
