It's been two years since Sherlock fell, and John is slipping into depression. Sarah is trying her best to keep his chin up, but he can't let go of the feeling that he's not dead. Sarah's patience us wearing thin, and her love for John is wavering. The nightmares are bad enough without his running off in the middle of the night for no reason. Sherlock is driving Mycroft mad. He's supposed to be keeping his head down, but recently he's been getting restless, sneaking out, disappearing for days on end, and the worst part is that Mycroft can't send out his usual band of nifties to go and fetch him. After all, he's supposed to be dead...

Waking You Up
John dies and Sherlock blames himself, so much so that the guilt begins to affect his life. However, he keeps getting dreams of John talking to him and assuring him that he's not dead. Eventually Sherlock doesn't seem to know reality from dreams and everyone around thinks he's crazier than usual. As it is, Sherlock was in coma for awhile and John, very much alive, had been by his bedside constantly and talking to him in hopes he wakes up. Inspired by my favorite Futurama episode.Complete
