If we stayed there any longer, we would have died. Earth was no longer our home, but instead a barren waste land from which we had to escape. Its calm blue oceans were replaced by big empty pits, and the green grass which used to cover our planet has now died, leaving all ground we tread on brown.

The sun was getting too close to earth. It was going to explode soon, meaning we would have to leave. Either that, or die on what we called home.

Not everyone left, not everyone was saved, but most of us are here in our new home. It's a huge space station called 'Earth Resides'. All of us who made it here, though, refer to it as our last resort.

My names Mia. I've been here nine years. And I know the truth.

Or Skip the chapter. 18+ ______________________ The year is 3999. Nearly a thousand years after a alien infection was set loose by the intelligent lifeforms know as Irinaut. No one knows exactly how they were able to make such a infection, but it was capable of destroying nearly all life on Earth. Those who couldn't hide or make it to the ships to escape their home planet, were left for the Irinauts. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. The Solar Sun is their last hope, and their last escape from these beings, but what's to be found there will change everything.

The Dead Walk Among Us

37 parts Complete

It's been ten years since the fall of humanity. I was only ten years old when the zombies took over. The military told us to flee underground, explaining that it was safer. The zombies are smart, too smart. They can learn to hide themselves. Some of them disguise themselves to look like normal people. We tell them apart by checking their eyes. Zombies have enlarged pupils compared to humans.
