Sidney Crosby and the GHP are back, but this time up against their biggest task yet: to defeat not one, but two forces of evil! With new and unusual recruits and a betrayer in the mix along with losses of original members, it just looks like the end of the GHP and the NHL as we know it is very near.

You thought that the EHP were gone for good? Think twice about that! Kari Lehtonen, with the undying fire to complete the EHP's task, manages to take over the NHL and works on having it stay that way forever. With that said, he is named the Master of the EHP. When the GHP find out what Kari has done, it seems like they can't really do anything until with a slam of a button, everything changes. They find out that their style of fighting has changed, their powers changed, and the hero of that'll save the NHL has changed.
