This is not the usual blood sucking, immortal vampire story. This story is about the dead people who live among us. We might not notice them but they exist. And you might be one of them... This story is inspired from some people I noticed in life. Based on assumptions and adding some fiction to create a story for the living dead from my point of view Our hero in this story finds himself in a situation where he had to create a barrier between him and the people surrounding him Later, he finds that the wall he built to protect himself became a cage to something evil. So, the hero has to make decisions where he would find peace for him self without releasing the evil inside. This is a short story now and your feedback would mean a lot. Thanks :)

ON HOLD Ever heard of an immortal? They're not entirely like the vampires you see in modern television. Their bodies function like normal. Their hearts beat, they use the bathroom, they feel tired. They blend in well with the mortals. They don't posses all the abilities that "vampires" do. They are also hard to find. When Jade went out for a fun night in 1923 with a group of women, they went with the intention of having fun. It ended with Jade running out of the speakeasy with the only other person who hadn't passed away in that building that night. When they parted ways, they didn't think they'd ever cross paths again. Until a 100 years later... *********** I am always open to constructive criticism on my writing. Whether it be about the description, the cover, the tags, or the story writing itself, I would love to hear feedback on how I could improve. If you decide to read, thank you! And I look forward to hearing your opinions! Story concept came from a TikTok I stumbled across awhile ago. I do not take credit for the story concept. Only the actual physical writing.
