That's what they teach us. 
To be loyal, and brave, quick, and clever.

Quinn's herd is like no other, with strict rules and tight ranks- there is no place for failure. 
Or that's at least what they teach.

After years of perfecting himself, Quinn is assigned to be station gaurd, and is put on a remote post.

Little does he know, his whole herd is being murdered in cold blood by the neighboring humans. And he must find a way to either trust his instincts, and help his herd, or turn tail and run.

A story about ones faith in his heart, coming before all that he was taught.

A girl named Emma has gone through a lot of problems. One day she is given a chance, to start a new and fresh life with her father. Emma won't pull any fake act of her behaviour, she'll just be her normal self. She will only try hiding one thing from the ones surrounding her. Which are her feelings and emotions. She has built this thick wall in her mind and it's diffucult for someone to pass through. Things get worse when she arrives at her father mansion. There she will learn the truth of her family. She is about to turn sixteen in a few days and it happens to be on Monday the day she goes to her first day to her new school. Will she manage? Will someone be able to pass through her wall? Will she feel safe? Will it be easy for her to this new life?

Completee Just read it. I don't know what I plan on doing with it, but it's not finished. This story is about a boy who has always been defenseless and alot of actions and people soon help him overcome this fear by training him. From there he soon learns how the real world is like and well no amount of blocking is going to save him from the hit that he'll recieve.

Emotions make you weak. I've watched emotions break people because they were consumed by them. I don't understand why they let emotions rule them. They are all broken, hurting and ruined. I can't save them. I can't do anything my hands are tied. Literally. We are slaves. It doesn't bother me, I could care less. Being a weapon doesn't bother me. But it hurts them and I can't have that. No matter how long it takes. I will get them out. Note: This is set before Try me. I dare you. From River's POV and a few others of her herd. It starts when River is one and will go on till right before she enters the school. I recommend you do read it before book two of the 'I dare you' series. Where a lot of this book comes out.

It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.
