We used to know each other in ways that only our quiet glances and midnight conversations could explain. There was a time when your name felt like home before you become someone I could barely even notice. The last time we spoke, it wasn't a goodbye. It wasn't even a proper ending. It was just a silence that grew too loud to ignore, and space that stretched too far to cross. I wish I had known back then that it was your quiet way of asking me to just let our past go.
