Nothing that could and would ever take back their mistake. No way to know why they left or why they never returned. No way to explain the mystery that flooded the oblivious town of normal people. There was one thing perhaps. One thing so small that they may have over looked it. It may just be the solution to all her unremitting problems. Yet, how would they ever know? How would they ever have known that perilous journey they would take? How could she have known the string of events that would follow the one simple hello? How could she have known that her whole life had been a lie? Everyone around her, everything she'd ever known was ripped from her in a matter of days. Everything turned upside down, the contents of her life spilling haplessly from its once perfect place.
So there she stood on the ever-crumbling platform that had become her life. Each step causing it to crumble just a little bit more until she stood on a wavering pillar. It swayed. It rocked. She is scared, she doesn't want to lose her family, her old comforts invisible life. But her connection her her guide is strong, and she doesn't want to let go of that either.
