Mattie's Mansion

The Marlan Mansion is a beautiful house, but the quarrelsome people living inside it are not very attractive. After 12 year old Mattie Marlan and her family move in with her grandmother at the mansion, she wonders if they'll ever get settled. Her father is upset about having to move back, as he hasn't spoken to Grandmother in twenty years after an destructive argument. Then, Mattie gets in over her head when she discovers a deadly conspiracy in her Grandmother's backyard.
