The Sea and The Huntress
Poseidon calls in a debt with Artemis to protect Percy when he is 6, and Artemis agrees reluctantly, and until he is 12, she protects him, honoring the debt, and does this by taking the form of a 6 year old mortal, and they become friends, which Artemis never expected. This makes their eventual separation when Percy turns twelve all the more painful. Artemis reveals her true form to him after he saves her from Mount Othrys, no longer being able to stay away from someone who'd become her closest friend and the two grow close once again. Eventually, a series of unexpected events occur, and a new threat is on the rise, and Percy is forced back into the divine world, and this threat makes the previous wars seem like the good old days. At times I know I've made pacing either too fast, or too slow, and things may seem rushed, or that they take forever, but I've done my best to write this as well as I could, this is also the first story I've written in First Person POVs, swapping mainly between Artemis and Percy, occasionally with other characters where it's relevant. Also this story is way longer than I intended it to be initially, mostly because I didn't have a plan, and also because after a certain point I just began saying "You know what? Fuck it. Why not" and adding a lot of stuff, so yeah there's a lot of different sub plots and storylines within this story, that's pretty much the main reason it's so long, I've done my best to make sure there are as few plot holes as possible, and that each arc ends properly, but there's probably still some.Complete
Blood Moon Rising
In a world where the memory of a brutal war between vampires and other supernatural beings has faded into legend, a new threat emerges from the shadows. Over 500 years have passed since the vampires' bid for domination was thwarted, but now whispers of their return spread fear among those who remember the bloodshed. Artemis, a determined and courageous young werewolf, senses the looming danger. As the leader of her pack, she is committed to protecting her kin and preserving the secrecy of the supernatural world. However, her task is far from easy. The other werewolf packs, having enjoyed centuries of peace, are skeptical of the vampire threat and dismiss Artemis's warnings as mere paranoia. Despite her earnest efforts, Artemis faces skepticism and disbelief from other werewolves, who refuse to believe that the vampires are regrouping for a renewed assault. As tensions rise and time runs short, Artemis must navigate political strife, ancient rivalries, and the haunting memories of past wars to unite the supernatural community against a common enemy. Her journey is fraught with danger, as she faces not only the cunning and ruthless vampires but also the reluctance and infighting within her own kind. Artemis's resolve is tested as she balances her desire to protect her pack, maintain the secrecy of their world, and prevent the return of the Dark Ages. In a race against time, Artemis's leadership, bravery, and determination will be crucial in uniting the supernatural community against the vampire threat and safeguarding both their world and the unsuspecting human race. Will she succeed in her mission, or will the shadows of the past plunge the world into darkness once more?
