Makoto Naegi never had expected this perplexing event that was occurring that very moment. It felt like his closest memories were slowly fading away; his friends that he had made during his time at this accursed "high school", his shelter and home, and his family and dearest sister. You see, this all began when he got that strange, yet unique MonoMono coin. Deciding that since it seemed special enough and may get him and his friends out of the school, Naegi ran to the MonoMono Machine, and inserted the coin. Only, he didn't know that his luckiness just ran out at that very second he inserted the coin.
Now, due to a strange and unnatural occurrence, Enoshima Junko, the used-to-be Ultimate Despair now decreased to an unwanted household member, has to attend the switched around version of Hope's Peak Academy; Despair's Retribution Academy, home to the lowest of the low, now formed into famous and generous people in Tokyo, Japan. Though, what Junko didn't predict was that she would have to see a handful of her friends die. Over, and over, and over again.
