It's been years after the brothers separated. Leo, Raph and Donnie left their home for separate ways. Leo took Mikey with him cause he wants Mikey to have a brighter future. 
                        Here's the ages of them; 
                                       Leo: 23
                                        Raph: 21
                                       Donnie: 20.    
                                        Mikey: 12

The brother separated cause Leo has water power, raph has fire power, Donnie has gravity power and mikey has ice, water, fire and gravity power. 
Splinter died when Mikey was 3,when Leo was 11, raph was 9, and when Donnie was 8.They all separated while Leo took care of Mikey. 

The only person that can bring them together is,..... Mikey
