When you're faced with extraneous challenges and ultimate tragedies you have two choices, you can either turn away or stand up and demand justice. Janet and Ray are continually faced with nothing but brutality but they chose to stand on their feet together rather than be torn apart and pushed to their knees. They live in a place that is less than cordial, where you're left to take care of yourself, and that's the exact attitude that gets them into trouble. Having been friends before for a very long time and then separated by the harshness of the streets, it's a struggle for the two to try and regain the chemistry that was once there.

Jocelyn met Yuri a year ago when she went abroad in Italy. They first encounter wasn't so pleasant, but they grew to be such great friend in one semester, spending every moment they could together until it came to the end of the semester. Not wanting to end it, he decided to convince his mother to let his move to America as an exchange program to keep his friendship with Jocelyn and to see her. Almost Perfect~
Living with no change in a city where no one seemed to leave or stay. She wanted a little change but got a whole lot more. It's really Loving someone who doesn't love you back that hurts. Perhaps it isn't the fact that they don't love you, but the fact that you loved them so much it hurt and they had no idea you even existed. Its not until they notice you that the hurt goes away and everything becomes perfect. But nothing can be perfect, in Robert Frost's words, "So dawn goes down to day, Nothing gold can stay" This is my first fanfic and is short with a terrible ending.
