Eh been a year or two since I have touched this so yeah, basically it's the typical post-Tolkien fantasy races, orcs humans, elves (whatever spelling you choose) and dwarves. In this setting however, the dwarves are in need of saving and their cousins, the elves, are friends of theirs (instead of the typical enemies they are usually put as) and come to their aid.
