The criminal's name is Rupert Aris, a former inspector of New Scotland Yard. What he lacks in teamwork and compassion, he makes up for in quick-wit and remarkable aptitude for hiding his tracks. There was no real explanation as to why Rupert turned against justice, but many suspect that it was a personal reason. Lestrade and his team have been trying time-after-time to catch this culprit, often finding misleading clues that trace back to already-deceased criminals. The villain's signature is easily distinguishable from other habitual criminals by his obscene murders. These victims consist mostly of couples, whether it be newly weds or old lovers, and their deaths are portrayed in the most vulgar ways. One may already determine from his grotesque killings is that this man is a bit of a romantic. Distressed, Lestrade turns to the only man that can solve such a complicated case: Sherlock Holmes. Casting aside "elementary" cases, both Sherlock and John accept the case without a doubt in their mind. What they don't realize is that this case would be one that they would never forget, a case that will forever change their lives.

After your sister died, you moved to London, hoping for a fresh start and to eliminate any memories of your her. The next thing you know, three people get murdered right before your eyes, and guess who shows up to inspect? John Watson. And his friend, Sherlock Holmes. You took a liking to Sherlock, despite his arrogance and sociopathic tendencies, and you slowly begin to see his feelings that he hides underneath his shell. When he sees how clever you are, Sherlock also takes a liking to you, but tries his hardest to hide it. He knows that sentiment is a chemical defect found on the losing side. He was looking at Sherlock Holmes. Yet not the one he would have expected. Distinctive changeable eyes, lined by a row of long dense lashes, showed an expression of a wild animal standing in the glare of approaching headlights. Of a man driven into a corner. Simply expressed, an expression of pure horror, something you don't see on a famous consulting detective most of the time. John opened his mouth, but after a realisation that he has no idea of what he wanted to say, he closed it again. He wasn't welcomed by a mutilated, smashed face. The severed spine could be ruled out straight away, and he seemed to have all his limbs as well. He felt an endless relief when he saw solid, uninjured skin where the blood flowed the last time. Nevertheless, the scene he was offered tugged the carpet under his feet and he had to admit (if a bit grudgingly) that Mycroft was right-he did not exaggerate when warning him it might be a shock. Trigger warnings: This story contains references to violence and its description, and also deals with self-esteem issues and body image. Meanwhile, Sherlock Holmes is trying to debunk the Scotland Yard's incorrect description of what is actually a group of mass-murders revolving around a small memory-wiping pill. Mr. Holmes needs an assistant, and Mr. Watson needs a companion. Little do either of them know how much they specifically need one another. [I wrote this when I was early in my teenage years. They were great friends at school and in fear he would be lonely again after Sherlock died he started to meet up with her, and soon, she moved in with him. They're just friends, though. No one could have a bond with John like Sherlock did. Sherlock was his best friend. But then Sherlock returns, and John is more furious than ever at him. Also, Sherlock and Holland seem to bond quite well, which is something Sherlock finds too complicated to explain itself.Complete
