Life hadn't always been so bad for Dan Howell. In fact, life used to be wonderful, and everything used to be great.
However, now Dan is broken because of his abusive father, lonely because of his parents divorce, and hungry for some form of release from of his depression.
But what happens when a student with the name of Phil Lester comes up to him one day after school to ask if he's okay? Will he finally be able to break away from the darkness that seemed to be grasped so tightly to his life?

And soon, his depression may end up falling to deep. He gets hateful and rude comments on his videos that he posts to YouTube. He even gets hate on Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr.
