A Familiar: An animal that chooses a human to bond with. The bond between the human and animal are created out of acceptance of both. The human can use the animal's traits. A story about a young dragon named Luminous, and her journeys around a fantastical world that really isn't as alive as it was described to be. So: there are many spelling mistakes, lots of sections of text that make no sense, random things being said, and... Yea. This is a story I thought of when I was a little kid, to keep me entertained at night when I couldn't sleep. No, I couldn't spell back then. It was written in parts, in old sketch books. Then typed. Here's the prologue or whatever the actual heck this thing is: Once, in a land so long ago there was a world filled with all types of creatures. Big cats, wolves, birds, fish, dinosaurs, and, most of all... Dragons. In this realm, there were two types of dragons: Black dragons, evil, mysterious creatures, and White dragons, elegant, beautiful beasts. Not all of these dragons were black and white though, infact, there was only ever one white dragon and one black dragon ever hatched. They were.. Well, use to be... Sisters. These dragons can be in all manner of shapes and sizes, colours and patterns, and not all dragons breathed deadly flames. Some had the breath of water, ice, snow, air, wind, and all colours of fire. But, no matter what type of dragon it is, how strong or weak it may be, they all had magic in them. You can tell whether a dragon is a black dragon or white dragon simply by looking into its eyes. Eyes... They show a creatures soul and heart. This is the story of me. My name is luminous, and Im a very special lady dragon. I became the leader of all dragons, and this... This is my story. ... Oh god it's horrible. Why did I ever publish this.

A wicked smirk is plastered on his face. My coal black eyes widen as I shake my head looking into his Icy blue eyes. "No I am not a monster." I whisper. "You are a monster, a pathetic monster but still a monster." He states calmly as he kicks at my feet. I look up at him "Why? Why are you like this. " "Runt, I am a king of beast. King of dragons and you wonder why I am cold? My very power is ice." He grabs hold of my shoulders and lifts me up as his face nears mine. "And I am going to enjoy freezing your heart."
