Many years have past since the Great Dragon War and in its wake has formed a new power, the New Axora Empire, headed by the Scaled Council and ruled by King Eliot upon his Winged Throne. The King however is aging and has no heir so a new heir to the throne will be decided by holding a tournament among the best and brightest of those at the Dragon Academy, training school of future Dragon Knights. Kallum and Zane, two lowly peasants closer than brothers, are unwittingly thrown into this tempest by a strange manifestation of power hidden deep within Kallumm. In order for him to take the throne for himself he must learn to control his powers and defeat all that would obstruct his path. He must learn to fly and be as one with his dragon as friends and rivals fall to the powers of darkness. The throne is there for the taking but will he be able to pay the price ?
