Aaliyah has had enough torture from her parents. She had it. She needed a fresh start, especially with her little sister, Alana. She wanted to be someone else. To forget about her past and start over, making the perfect life for Alana. Aaliyah and her sister moved to California after they ran away. They changed their identities and came back stronger. She was no longer going to be pushed around. She was forced to make it in her own, with her sister.
Going home was not an option to her.
