Just bits and drabbles from a superhero novel I am working on, focusing on characters and action. An accident during a field trip leads to an entire biology class acquiring abilities. But now that they have them, what on earth were they going to do with them? Each chapter is written in a different style or from a different point of view. Rated M for violence and realistic portrayal of trauma.

"The world around her swam with mottled light. How long had she been fighting?" So...in sixth grade we took this computer-skills class. Our final test was to write a short story in Microsoft Word. My story ended up fleshing out into the trilogy I am working on and planning to publish at somepoint in my life, but I realized how incredible my writing skill has improved between just the two or three years. The Ghost

A little girl screams as she's pulled into the car, while her older brother, father, and pregnant mother watch from the entryway. "Mommy! Bubba! Help!" Being sent away to a boarding school is enough to scare anyone, but a boarding school to train assassins is even worse. Now imagine that child sent away is a 5 year old girl whose family stood stone faced as she was ripped away from them. Galaxy grew up with anger in her heart, but when the baby her mother was pregnant with is sent to the school as well, she will do anything to protect her. Watching from afar she protects the young girl until finally she can rescue her from the school's 'training'. Galaxy endures unimaginable pain in her 13 years at that school, but the moment she frees herself, her family is back with plans of their own.
