Discovery writing with no clear plan. It is based in my sci fi/fantasy Universe of Amasayer. It takes place during the events of Amasayer Saga: Genesis, but on the other side of the the mysterious out of phase world of Eldr'Gar. A world where it's inhabitants were all once space faring civilizations that were 'marooned' in this starless realm.

First to Rise (Excerpt)
The aliens came here for one thing, and one thing only.... Females. ( This story is only available through inkitt or galatea!!!) (some read events may apply) (check update chapter for more details!) Humans believed they were the only intelligent life to exist... that it was impossible for another species to evolve in a way where they could prevail in something as great as space travel. humans believed they were supposed to be the most technologically advanced species and the alpha predators... A vast and beautiful magical land. Made up of different cities and towns. Where many mythological creatures live and practice magic. A few of the races include the Amani, the (elves?), and the (dragon?) The story will follow one main character from each race, how they practice their magic and how they help their world when an evil rises up.Complete

It begins near the end, with a man intent on destruction, who feels most of his humanity has gone. As with so many others. Set in a future where almost all sentient life on earth no longer exists. Yet something remains. People continue to live as if nothing has changed, unaware that they are no more than copied memories running in an artificial substrate. In writing The Captured I've tried going some way to explore what defines sentience. And considered the following: Would a machine entity recognize the distinction between itself and biological life - if it could replicate thought and action? And if it could recreate the exact function of a living being what difference does it make whether as flesh or machine? But also this is a human story, though sometimes viewed from an alien perspective... Blurb: [Life is going well for Torbin. A successful career, a happy marriage. Kaelora Ceto finds herself on a shore with no memory of who, what, or where she is. This is about her adventures to find out. - This is under a lot of work, it is not the final product or however you want to call it, I am simply uploading this for anyone who might want to read it as I work on it. So please do not expect much! IF you wish to leave comments about what you think go for it! - A lot is subject to change, and once I have a name for the novel I will update that.
The Cave
Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.Complete

[This is a mix of Mimic, Predator And The Thing] Deep in the heart of an uncharted jungle, a team of elite researchers embarks on an expedition to uncover the truth behind a mysterious biological anomaly. What begins as a routine mission quickly spirals into a waking nightmare when they stumble upon an isolated village with a chilling warning-something is watching, something that was never meant to be found. The villagers speak of Mal'zeer, the Demon of the Unseen-a creature older than memory, capable of wearing the faces of its prey. At first, the team dismisses it as legend, until one of their own begins acting strangely. Then another vanishes without a trace. When the jungle itself seems to turn against them, paranoia takes hold. No one can be trusted. Nowhere is safe. As the survivors fight for their lives, they uncover a terrifying truth: Mal'zeer is not hunting them-it is replacing them. The only way to kill it is fire, but fire may only make it stronger. A group of teenagers find each by chance and discover that they aren't as different as it seems. I wrote this in 6th grade and I only recently just found it.
