Quailpaw is just a normal apprentice in a normal clan, but keeps on having these weird dreams. Finally she receives her warrior name, Quailfeather, and can now be free from her training and chores. When one day, a terrible accident happens, and she is badly injured. Will she ever become the warrior she always wanted to be?

Horsekit has a great reputation. Her mother, Cinderstripe, saved the clan from the Twolegs. You'd be respected too, right? Until she became mute and disfigured.
