"Hurry up Emma were going to be late," Exclaimed Logan."OK, hold on last bag." Emma said as she was sat on a zebra pink suit case trying to zip it shut. "The flight leaves in 30 minutes and we'll never make it on time!" said Logan. "I'm done, are you ready, do you have the pass ports?" said Emma. "Yes, I have the passports, all bags are packed, we got the food, we have tent and lots of water. Do we need to bring the first aid kit?" asked Logan. "No, its not like we're going to get stranded on a island. Ha ha." said Emma.

I will be your heart, if you will be my shield. In a world where magic supposedly didn't exist, Serena has spent years struggling to conceal her unpredictable singing magic. While wishing for a peaceful life where she can sing without fear, she sees a man in handcuffs being forced into a shady research center. Their eyes meet, and the soulbond is forged. Darien is not from this world, and he's been held captive for years. With the soulbond amplifying his strength, he can fight his way through almost everything, but not every danger can be fought with fists. Their love draws them together even as power-hungry enemies try to pry them apart. They want to control Darien for their own purposes, but he's too strong to be controlled by force. Their love is their greatest strength-and their biggest vulnerability. But magic has its own rules, and no song can go unanswered. Excerpt: I pitied the man, although with so many cops around him, he was quite dangerous. Who needed 30 police officers to supervise one guy who in handcuffs and leg shackles? I watched him walk down the gauntlet between the rows of officers. It was as if I couldn't look away. He paused and looked around. His brilliant glowing blue eyes seemed to meet mine across the vast distance. I couldn't even blink as his eyes seemed to hold mine. The trees of a park broke our locked gaze as the bus kept on driving. I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that I had stopped breathing the moment our eyes met. I had never seen such blue eyes before-and they glowed! A shiver ran through me. I had been too far away to make out the color of the man's eyes. My eyes watched the trees, hoping for a break in them so I could see the man again. I had no such luck. --- Fade-to-black action fantasy romance Copyright November 2017. "Is it still a no?" He asked, his voice was deep yet soft at the same time. "Hard and cold." "Oh, come on, Lou! Live a little. I can be your tour guide and show you around town. It'll be fun!" "And why not after school or in the weekend?" "Because there's no thrill to it. Please, Louisa." He asked again. I sighed. "What's in it for me, Liam?" He chuckled. "You get to spend time with me! Liam Gilbert, your tour guide, the guy you come to when you don't want to study!" "Let's make a deal," I smirked, "if I ditch with you then you have to study with me." He looked unsure and I knew he didn't want to. I shrugged. "Okay, I'll see you at home." He moaned. "Fine, but you have to ditch me right now." My face lit up like a Christmas tree and I was truly surprised. "Okay, let's go." * There are a few rules when it comes to ditching class. Rule number one: Don't tell anyone. The teachers, your siblings, your parents. Rule number two: If anybody asks where you were, always say you were sick and rule number three is to have fun. Louisa Shepard didn't know what she was getting into when she agreed to ditch school with Liam Gilbert, her host brother. She had the perfect attendance record, she studied in her spare time and she never missed a class a day in her life. Until she went to America in exchange and met Liam, the guy she could not get away from. Liam did not care about school. He ditched most days, slept in, never studied for anything and his attendance record wasn't exactly great. When Liam finds out that Louisa, the British good girl, was the perfect student, he wanted to have some fun. But, there comes a price. If Liam wanted Louisa to ditch school then he would have to study with her. Louisa had no idea what she was in for when ditching with Liam and some days, it goes further than just ditching class. Louisa and Liam are just going to have to go the distance if they want to keep up with each other. All Rights Reserved 2017 © Sarahxox_16

The small black haired boy named Ray answered. "Outside? We've never been outside..." "That's because we haven't left here since being born." The small white haired boy named Norman said. "So is this what Mom always tells us about?" Emma smiled. "Never go near the Gate of Fence in the back of the forest cause it's dangerous.'" "Hmm...I don't see anything dangerous there." the small girl named (Y/N) said with her eyebrows furrowed. "She says that but it's not true." Ray says looking down. Norman looks at Ray. "It's not?" "Hey Ray! What would you do outside?" Emma happily asked. (Y/N) looked at Emma to Ray. "I don't know. You, Emma?" "I'd ride a giraffe!" "Good luck." Ray turned away, sarcastically. "And you, (Y/N)?" Emma asked (Y/N), happily. (Y/N) thought about it for a moment. "I want us four to be together and spend the rest of our lives outside!" Emma's smile stretched widely and giggled.
